ques is ambiguous....
it should be like that
prob.of drawing red pair is 1/2&prob. of drawing blue pair is 1/12
then prob. of not getting red pair=1-1/2 i.e 1/2 =prob. of geting blue pair+prb. of geting 1 red&1 blue
prob. of getting 1 red 1 blue=1/2-1/12=5/12

The chance of being red pair is 1/2
The chance of being blue should be 1/2(as it given its equal to 12)
so,it contains 24 socks
