the first word= 'DFNORS'
so by keeping 'DF' cons. arrange other letters i.e NORS so no of ways =4!=24
now keep 'DN' cons arrange other letters i.e 'FORS' so no of ways =4!=24
and the total no of ways =24+24=48
the 48 position word will be 'DNSROF'
as it is alphabetical order
so the 47 position word will be 'DNSRFO'

1st word is DFNORS
DF****=4!=24 ways
DN****=4!=24 ways
then 48th word is DNSROF
hence 47th word id DNSRFO
so answer D is correct..

in FRONDS, total letters are=6, at 2nd place the letter is R, originally after R comes S, here S is at 6th position i.e. 3 places from R. By hit and trial method only option D satisfies this condition.
