let x grams be taken from 62 rs tea and y grams be taken from 72 rs tea.
we have to determine per kg,so x+y=1000 grams(1 kg)
and 62*x+72*y=64.50*1000(the mixture would be of 1 kg thats why I have taken 1000 grams).
by solving, x=750 and y=250
X:Y=3:1.
another solution,
72-64.50=7.50
64.50-62=2.50,
hence 3:1(by crossing)

let us take 3:1 ratio by trial and error method
(3*62)+(1*72)=258
258/4=64.5
