susan can type 2 pages in 1 min
mary can type 0.5pages in 1 min
so, both of them work together they type 2.5 pages in 1 min
so,in 30 min they type (30*2.5)= 75 pages

mary can type 1 page in 2 min.
in 30min susan can type 60 page and mary can type 15 page
if they work together 60+15=75
they can type 75 pages in 30 minutes

Ans: In 5min susan can type = 10 pages
Hence in 30 min susan can type = (10/5)*30 =60

In 10 min mary can type = 5 pages
Hence in 30 min mary can type = (5/10)*30=15
Therefore, total 75 pages type in 30 minute. Ans: E

Susan can type (10*6)=60 pages in 30 minutes & Mary can type (5*3)=15 pages in 30 minutes.
so 60+15=75 pages

IN 5 MIN SUSAN CAN TYPE = 10 PAGES
IN 1 MIN SUSAN CAN TYPE = (10/5) = 2 PAGES
IN 30 MIN SUSAN CAN TYPE = 60 PAGES
IN 10 MIN MARY CAN TYPE = 5 PAGES
IN 1 MIN MARY CAN TYPE = (5/10) = 1/2 PAGES
IN 30 MIN MARY CAN TYPE = 30(1/2) = 15 PAGES
BOTH TOGETHER CAN TYPE = 30 PAGES+15 PAGES
= 75 PAGES
