All numbers between 300 and 1000 are 3 digit numbers and none of them start with 1.
So, 100th's position can be filled with either 5 or 7 i.e, 2 ways.
Now, 10th's position can be filled in 2 ways with 1 or the number not filled in 100th position.
The remaining number is filled in units position i.e, 1 way.
So, the final answer is 2*2*1=4 odd numbers.
