2x*100+3x*50+5x*25=11400
475x=11400
x=11400/475=24
no of 50 paise coins are=72
its value is 36 rupees

let ratio is 2x:3x:5x
take one rupee=1
50 paise=1/2
25 paise=1/4
so 1*2*x +3 *x*(1/2) + 5*x*(1/4) =114
=>19x=456
=>x=24
now.....value of 50 paise coins is=3*x*(1/2)
=(3*24)/2
=36

Option 4 is correct
1 rupee -->2
50 paise --->3 thats is 1.50
25 paise --->5 =1.25
2x+1.50x+1.25x=114
4.75x=114
x=24
The value of 50 paise coins is 24*3=72

ratio is 2x:3x:5x
one rupee=1
50 paise=1/2
25 paise=1/4
then
1*2*x +3 *x*(1/2) + 5*x*(1/4) =114
2x+1.5x+1.25x=114
4.75x=114
x=24

We have 1 rs , 50-paise= 1/2rs and 25-paise= 1/4rs
ratio 2 : 3 : 5.
total value rs. 114.

let there be x one rs coins, so , 50p and 25 p can be expressed in its terms , isnt ?

2* 1*x + 1/2*x*3 + 1/4*x* 5 = 114

on solving we will get : 19x/4= 114

so, for value of 50 paise, = 1/2*(3* x) put x and solve , you will get = 36

First convert all coins in same unit(rupees)
1rs has ratio 2
50 paise should have ratio 3/2
25 paise should have ratio 5/4
Now,
Total is 2+3/2+5/4= 19/4
To get 50 paise coins...
3/2 * 4/19 * 114 =36 ans.
