x*y=560
x=560/y
y=28
x=20
x-y=-8

y^2=560*(7/5)=28*28
y=28
x=20
y-x=8

suppose x is proportional constant
then from question it is given that product is 560.
so,5x*7x=560
35x^2=560
x^2=16
x=4 or -4
so difference is (28-20) or (-20-(-28)) is equal to 8

Let two nos. be 5x and 7x
According to the question 5x*7x=560
x*x=16======>>> x=4
So no. will be 20 and 28
So difference b/w them= 28-20=8

35*x^2=560
x^2=16
x=4 (i.e 4*4)
5*4=20
7*4=28
20-28=-8
28-20=8
so ans is 8.

xy=560
5/7*y*y=560(solve it we get
y=28
x=20
then x-y=8

so 560/35=16
x=+-4
so 4*5=+-20
4*7=+-28
so 28-20=+-8

now according to question,,,,
5x into 7x =560
x=4
numbers are 20 and 28
we can also verify...20:28=5:4
and 20*28=560

product=5x*7x=35x^2
so 35x^2=560
x^2=560/35=16
x=4
so the numbers are 5*4,7*4
difference would be 28-20=8

ans depends on option
given ratio is 5:7
lets take common factor as X.
it is given that product of number is 560
ie 5X*7X=560
on solving we get X=4,-4
so the number is -20 and -28 OR 20 and 28
both are correct but we have to see the option and according to option we will select the ans

hense x=560/y.....(i)
7x-5y=0
putting value from (i)
we got x=20 and y=28.
so difference between two numbers is 8.
