There are some readers such that in each occupied reading spot there are different numbers of readers. If in all there are 10 readers, how many reading spots do not have even a single reader? 10 reading spots, Each reading spot consists of 4 chairs placed around it so.. There are given no: readers such that in each occupied reading spot there are different numbers of readers.. .let us consider d maxm case possible : so for first table 1 person is sitting,2nd table 2 persons sit.. 10 readers equals to(1+2+3+4) so 4 tables are filled ie: 10-4=6 reading spots does not have even a single reader..

for different no of reader=1,2,3,4(total 10)
in this way only 4 reading spot is filled
so 6 is left
answer=6

as every spot has different no. of students, it is possible when first one has 1 student second has 2 until total is 10 so 1+2+3+4=10 hence 4 tables are occupied 6 are empty.

total reading spots - number of chairs.. 10-4=6.. so option c is correct

In library there are 10 spots and consists of a round table with 4 chairs placed and here there are 10 different people amd they are arranged in 1,2,3,4 . that means 10=1+2+3+4 .And here 4 tables are occupied and 6 tables are remainded.. and answer is 6

reading spot with different numbers of readers :
1+2+3+4=10 readers
hence, 10-4= 6

Each reading spot have different reader so total 10 reader are divided as 4,3,2,1 thus four table contain different reader and 6 remains so ans is 6

4,3,2,1 It means total there are 6 tabels which has been occupied !!!

So, there are 6 vacant tables.
