if he offered discount of 3000 then sp wud be 27000
27000=((100+8)/100)*cp
on solving we get 25000

sp=30000, dis=10%, so dis of 10%in 30000 is 3000.. the original selling price is (30000-3000)27000...
profit=8%
formula for cp=100/(100+gain)*sp
we get cp=25000

Given S.P=30,000::(90/100)*30,000=(108/100)*C.P ;solving, we get Rs.25,000

as far as i am concerned you must give ph test.
because its score is valid for 2 years so any mnc opening will come with in that period you can imediately apply in that,and most probably accenture will conduct drive soon.....

Sp=30,000
let 100%=30,000
if he had given 10% discount
90%=27,000
now this 27,000 will be a profit of 8%
so 108%=27,000
hence 100%(i.e,CP)=25,000

since 10 % discount on s.p =3000
so 30000-3000=27000
therefore 108 % =27000
100%={27000/108}*100
=25000(ans)

aftr giving dis 10% sp will be 27000 now 1.08x=27000 so x=25000.( option d rs.25000 is answer).

he sold article by 30,000 and offer 10% . it means he is selling it in 27,000
and still he earned 8% on cost price
so let cost price is 100rs
and he 100*8% = 108
by 100 he eared 108 and by actual he earned 27000/108*100 = 25000rs

formula is actual cost after calcuating/supposed cost after calculating * supposed value

sold=30,000 and discount=10%
so sp=30000-3000=27000
gain/profit is 8% than pick choice answer 25,000 why
25000 of cp gaining 8%=2000
so sp=27000
