let x be number of camels, y number of goats.
and rate of each camel = C, rate of goat = G and rate of dog = D

so the rate of all the camels = x*C = x^2
with this money they buy some goats and 1 dog
so, x^2= y(G) + D

now animals are shared,

y1*G + D = y2*G
where y1 + y2 = y

y1*G + D = y*G - y1*G
solving the eq,
D = y*G - 2y1*G = G*(y2)

therefore the rate of the dog is equal to complete rate of the goats received by the second man
