factor 495=11*5*3*3*1
61-11=50
61-5=56
61-3=58
61-3=58
61-1=60
so a+b+c+d=50+56+58+58=222 ans.

495= 3 * 3 * 5 * 11
Now as in question it is expressed in multiple of five terms we have do that only.
Also as a,b,c,d,e are in ascending order that means all are different.
So we can't take both 3 as it is.
So 495 = 3 * -3 * 5 * 11 * -1

Comparing with the question a,b,c,d,e= 64,60,58,56,50
Sum= 282

495= 3 * 3 * 5 * 11
Now as in question it is expressed in multiple of five terms we have do that only.
Also as a,b,c,d,e are in ascending order that means all are different.
So we can't take both 3 as it is.
So 495 = 5 * 9 * 11
We want 5 terms so 495=5 * 9 * 11 * 1 * -1
Comparing with the question a,b,c,d,e= 62,60,56,52,50
Sum= 280

we get 11*5*3*(-1)*(-3)=495
a+b+c+d=226
