(choc union cric)=choc + cric -(choc intersection cric)
(38-20)=10+15-(choc intersection cric)
so,
(choc intersection cric)= people like both cricket and chocolate = 7

but given total people => 10+15=25
so common people repeated twice are => 25-18=7

N(AUB)=N(A)+N(B)+N(AnB)-BOTH(AnB).....38=10+15+20-X THEN X=7

no of choclate drinkers =10,no of cricket fans=15,total no of people=38,no of people who dont like choclate and cricket both =20,it means no of people who like either choclate or cricket =38-20=18,so total no of people who like both cricket and choclate =15+10-18=7

either cricket or chocolate like members=no.of people like chocolate+no.of people like cricket-both cricket and chocolate fans
here total=38 people
from this 20 can not like both,means either cricket or chocolate like members are=38-20
therefore,
18=10+15-(both chocolate and cricket fans)
s0,the answer is=7

A intersection B= no of people like neither chocolate or cricket = 20
A U B=A+B-(A intersection B)= 10+25-20=5 ans.

no of people like either chocolate or cricket=30-20=18
10 like to drink chocolate and 15 like cricket fans=10 + 15=25

P(AuB)=38-20=18
so the ans is 7

n(A)=10,n(B)=15,n(AUB)=38-20=18
n(AUB)=n(A)+n(B)-n(A intersection B)
18=10+15-x
18=25-x
x=7
so,7 is the answer

total = 38.
a ( drink chocolate ) = 10
b ( like cricket ) = 15


niether like choc. not like cricket = 20
therefore, we are left with people who only like one of the 2 mentioned things. Hence, 38-20 = 18.

Now people who like both
as
a union b = a + b - a intersection b
a intesection b = -a union b+ a +b
= 15+10-18
= 7
