Since there is no repetation allowed
Trerefore ,
Registration no. with one digit=5p1
Registration no. with two digits=5p2
Registration no. with three digits=5p3
Registration no. with four digits=5p4
Registration no. with five digits=5p5
No. of vehicles=5p1+5p2+5p3+5p4+5p5.
=5+20+60+120+120
=325.

for 5 digits=5!
for 4 digits=5*4*3*2*1
for 3 digits=5*4*3
for 2 digits=5*4
for 1 digits=1
total=120+120+60+20+5=325

registration no containing 1 digit=5
registration no containing 2 digit=5*4=20(repeatation not allowed)
registration no containg 3 digit =5*4*3=60
registraion no containing 4 digit=5*4*3*2=120
registraion no containing 5 digit=5*4*3*2*1=120

total possible reg no=5+20+60+120+120=325

2 digit no=5*4=20
3 digit no=5*4*3=60
4 digit no=5*4*3*2=120

Total digits available is 1,2,3,4,5
5 digit no plate is formed in 5P5 ways.
4 digit no plate is formed in 5P4 ways.
3 digit no plate is 5P3 ways
2 digit no plate in 5P2 ways
1 digit no plate in 5P1 ways
total adding all dis we get 325 ways!!
