In 1st case 1 man 1 day work = 1/(x*30)
In 2nd case 1 man 1 day work = 1/[(x+6)*20)]
both should be equal so value of x=12 men.

1 man will complete in 30*x days
so x+6 man will complete in (30*x)/(x+6)=20
=> 30x=20x+120
=> 10x=120
=> x=12
so originally there are 12 men

Let the no of original no of men be x
Then in 1st case-it will be 30x(time X x)
2nd case-when no. of men increases-x+6
Time=30-10=20
Now same work is to be done,therefore
30x=20(x+6)
10x=120
X=12men

1 man will complete in 30*x days
so x+6 man will complete in (30*x)/(x+6)=10
=> 30x=10x+60
=> 20x=40
=> x=2
so originally there are 2 men

x+6 men dowork in (x*30)/x+6=(30-10)=20 days,
After solving x=12

1 man will complete the work in 30*x days
so, x+6 men will complete the works in (30*x)/(x+6)=10
than,
30*x=10x+60
30x-10x=60
20x=60
x=3
so,3 men.

30*x=(x+6)*10
3x=x+6
2x=6
x=3,
so totally 3 men

so, in 1 days x*30 men required
so, in 20 days x*30/20 men are required

x*30/20=x+6
=3x=2x+6
=x=6
original members are =6+6 =12 men
