6x – 8 > 40 => 6x >48 => x > 8 ...(1)
And 9x – 19 > 80 = > 9x >99 => x >11 ...(2)
For both the inequalities to hold true, x should be greater than 11, and for values of x greater than 8, at least the first inequality (1) will be satisfied.
For x not to satisfy both the inequalities, it has to be equal to or lesser than 8.
Therefore, our answer is x lesser than or equal to 8

Answer is (c) i.e. x is lesser to 8.
because
given that
6x-8>40
9x-19>80
these two inequalities holds for the 'x'.
hence above inequalities doesnot hold if
6x-8x

Solution :

6x – 8 > 40 => 6x >48 => x > 8 ...(1)
And 9x – 19 > 80 = > 9x >99 => x >11 ...(2)

For x not to satisfy both the inequalities, it has to be equal to or lesser than 8.

so x is lesser to 8 is wrong

here we are going to do the not satisfying condition so the answer is x lesser than or equal to 8 by this condition both the equations will not satisfy
