so number of factors=(p+1)(q+1)(r+1)=4*2*3=24

If N=a^p*b^q*c^r.... then the number of factors of N = (p+1)(q+1)(r+1) ....
600 = 2^3×3×5^2
So number of factors of 600 = (3+1)(1+1)(2+1) = 24

2 x 300

We got three 2s,one 3 and two 5s
Formula to find number of factors of a number= (p+1)x(q+1)x(r+1)
where p=3
q=1
r=2
Anser: (3+1)x(1+1)x(2+1)
4x2x3 = 24 .. Answer = 24

since, 600=2*2*2*3*5*5
So factor are = 2^3,3^1,5^2
so no. of factor=(3+1)(1+1)(2+1)= 24

If N=ap×bq×cr.... then the number of factors of N = (p+1)(q+1)(r+1) ....
600 = 23×3×52
So number of factors of 600 = (3+1)(1+1)(2+1) = 24
