Q. Hemamalini was enjoying her vacation at her Cousin's home. In the mornings, she used to go for a jogging with her cousin. The evenings were spent on tennis court in nearly sports club. Since the activities of jogging and playing tennis were tiring, they could manage only one per day, i.e., either they went for a jog or played tennis each day. There were days when they felt lazy and stayed home all day long. For every four days they when for jog on first day, went for walk on the second day, did nothing for the third day and went for walk on the fourth day. This cycle continued. In total if they had played tennis for 30 days, how many total number of days Hema stayed in her Cousin's home.

This is a very simple question. (Plenty of data is given just to confuse readers.)
In every 4 days Hema and Cousin play tennis for 2 days. Since total number of days of playing tennis is 30, total days of stay can be calculated as follows

Tennis Days Stay Days
2 4
30 ?
Total number of days of stay = 30 x 4/2 = 60 days.

by seeing options we can say ans is 60, in question they given they had played tennis for 30 days in total days, so in options we don't have above 30 except 60 , so ans is 60 save ur time while writing exam.

In every 4 days they played tennis as 2 days, thus for playing 30 day tennis she have to lived with her for 60 days... so answer is 60.

1st day jog no tennis
2nd day walk also tennis ---- total 15
3rd day nothing
4th day walk also tennis---- total 15
thus she lived for 60 days (15*4)

its very simple,
1st day jogging
2nd day walk,means no jogging,playing tennis
3rd day did nothing
4th day walk,means no jog,playing tennis
so,played tennis 2days in evry 4 days
played tennis 30 days in evry 30*(4/2)=60 days

another solution
he palyed tennis for 30 days,so according to the question its only possible when she stayed more than 30 days,so only option d,60days is possible.

60 days.....for every 4 days they used to paly tennis for 2days.....since they played tennis for 30days i.e hema stayed 60days with his cousin's home.
