Divide BROUGHT as BRO & GHT. take BRO each after 1 letter & cross it means it becomes PSC. take GHT each after 2 letter & cross it means it becomes VJI & middle letter U take previous of that i.e T. arange the word HEARING it becomes HEA->BFI & ING->IPK & R->Q. Finally BFIQIPK

Consider numbers for alphabets we get A-Z=1-26,
consider BROUGHT where B=2,R=18,O=15,U=21,G=7,H=8,T=20,it is encoded as PSCTVJI where P=16,S=19,C=3,T=20,V=22,J=10,I=9 Here we can find relative difference between two letters,P-B=14,S-R=1,O-C=12,U-T=1,V-G=15,J-H=2,T-I=9
Therefore these differences should be added to given word HEARING and hence we get VFMQXLE i.e. HEARING is coded as VFMQXLE

HEARING is written in that code as BFIQKPI.
