The series is 2,2,4,12,48. The first number is 2. Let us keep it aside. The logic used in this series is: the second number is equal to the product of first number multiplied with n( n starts from 1). So second term = 2 * 1 = 2. Third term = second term * 2 = 2*2 = 4. Fourth term = 4*3 = 12. The logic again is : previous term * (n+1). Hence, the next term is 48*5 = 240
