avg cost of 4 apples and 5 mangoes , 4+5=9 --> 9*30=270
avg cost of 8 apples and 7 mangoes, 8+7=15 -->15*40=600

Total cost for 12 apples and 12 mangoes, 270+600=870.
now, for 24 apples and 24 mangoes = 2*870= 1740 is answer.

solving this,
average cost of 12 Apples+12 Mangoes=(30+40)/2=35
hence avg cost of 24 mangoes + 24 apples = 35
Total cost = 48*35=1680

Given cost is average not total. and we have to find out total cost.
let price of one apple is X, and for mangoes is Y.
equation will be
(4X+5Y)/9 = 30 (here divided by 9 by virtue of total no. of apple and mangoes
are 4+5 = 9)
same second eq. will be
(8X+7Y)/15 = 40 (here divided by 15 because 8+7 = 15).

so two equations are
4X+5Y = 270......(1)
8X+7Y = 600......(2)
after solving
X=17.5 (cost of one apple)
Y=20

8A+7M=80 8A+ 7M=80
On solving A=4/3,m=40/3
now 24M+24A=24x(4/3)+24x(40/3)=32+320=352

8a+7m=40 => 16a+14m=80 .....(2)
add (1) & (2)
24a+24m=60+80=140

ans is 140

let no. of apples be 'a' and no. of mangoes be 'm'
4a+5m=30....eq 1
8a+7m=40...eq 2
multiply eq 1 by 2 we get 8a+10m=60
subtract eq 1 from eq 2.
we get m=20/3 and a=-5/6
put it in 24a+24m.. we get 140

so
X=17.5(cost of one apple)
Y=20(cost of one mango)

cost of 24 apple = 17.5*24= 420
cost of 24 mangoes 20*24=480

so total cost = 420 + 480 = 900 Rs. ..........ANS.

Y = 40.
so 24*40 = 960.
so ans became 420+960= 1380............ANS.

cost=15*40=600 Rs
Total fruits=9+15=24
total cost for 24 fruits=270+600=870 Rs

2*870=1740 Rs

y=6.66,x=15.825 for an apple and a mangoo
for 24 apples=379.8rs.for 24 mangoe =159.8rs

Ans is:1740
(4 apples+5 mangoes)/9=30 4 apples+5 mangoes=270 (I)
(8 apples+7 mangoes)/15=40 8 apples+7 mangoes=600 (II)
solving I & II we get
apple = 92.5 & mangoe = -20
then 24 apples+24 mangoes=24*92.5 + 24 *(-20)=1740
