Next term is 1/18.
1/2 then two terms of one series in which denominator multiply by 2 than 2nd series term in which denominator multiply by 3 then two terms of 1st series den next term in which denominator is multiply by 3.

2*2=4
2*3=6
2*4=8
then skip 4 step
2*8=16
2*9=18
answer=1/18

divide the series in 2 part
1st part:1/2,1/4,1/8 the next number for this part will be 1/16(its by multiplying 1/2 to every previous number to get the next number)
2nd part:1/2,1/6,1/16 the next number for this part will be 1/26(we get this part:
1/2*1/3=1/6
1/2*1/8=1/16
1/2*1/13=1/26(number multiplied with 1/2 itself differ by 1/5)
