wihout repeatition: 5*5*4*3*2*1 = 5*5! = 600
with repeatition : 5*6*6*6*6*6 = 30*1296 = 38880

no. of words with 0 in 1st position is 5!
required no. 6!-5!=600

It depends can numbers be repeated?

If they can, then you have 6 numbers and thus 6⁶ possible sequences. Now be careful, because some of those sequences have 0 as the first digit--well that's not really a 6 digit number is it? So how many of those 6⁶ have 0 as the first digit? Easy, you have six digits for 5 spots (after the first 0), so that's 6⁵. So there are total of:

6⁶ - 6⁵ = 38,880

If digits cannot be repeated, then similar, but now there is a total of 6! sequences. Again, some of those have 0 as the first digit. So if we choose 0 as the first digit, then there are 5! sequences left for the next 5, so the answer is:

6! - 5! = 600

for the first digit we can have 5 choices (i.e. except 0)
for the second place we have 6 choices
for the third place we have 6 choices
for the fourth place we have 6 choices
for the fifth place we have 6 choices
for the sixth place we have 6 choices
Hence total no.s are = 5*6!=43880

options for first place is 5 (excluding 0),and all others digits are including 0 so 2nd=6 ,3rd=6,4th=6,5th=6,6th=6.... finally,possible ways are 5*6*6*6*6*6=38880

6!= 6*5*4*3*2*1= 720. say if the numbers do not be repeated .like ex: 552301
