4 male+6female in 8 days=> 32 male+48 female in 1day
7male+ 3 female in 10 days =>70 male+30 female in 1 day
.:32 male+48 female=70 male+30 female
18 female=38 male
1 female= 38/18 male=19/9 male
now,4 male+6 female=4 male+6*(19/9)=50/3 male=150/9 male
we have to find for 10 female workers= 10*(19/9)=190/9 male
more men ,fewer days wud be req to finish work
male days
150/9 8
190/9 x

so, x/8=(150/9)/(190/9)

x=120/19

7x+3y=1/10
then, solving we get
y=19/(40*30)
for 10female.. (19*10)/(40*30)days..

f=76/4800
10 female work=10(76/4800)=76/480
days=480/76=120/19

.:32 male+48 female=70 male+30 female
18 female=38 male
1 female= 38/18 male=19/9 male
now,4 male+6 female=4 male+6*(19/9)=50/3 male=150/9 male
we have to find for 10 female workers= 10*(19/9)=190/9 male
more men ,fewer days wud be req to finish work

150/9 8
190/9 x

so, x/8=(150/9)/(190/9)
x= 40/3 days

32m+48f=1 (3)
70m+30f=1 (4)
equating eq 3 nd 4
32m+48f=70m+30f
m=9/19f
from eq 1, we have
4*9/19f+6f=8
150/19f=8 (5)
M1*D1=M2*D2
150/19*8=10*D2
D2=120/19

3x+7y=1/10
& on solving both equestin we get y=1/400
so for 10 female its 10*1/400=1/40 i.e 40 days answer

let the number of males=x;
number of females=y and
the number of days to be found=z;
let the 1st equ be 4x+6y=8;
2nd equ be 7x+3y=10;
3rd equ be 10y=z;
solving the equ 1 and 2, we get x=6/5;
sub x in equ 2 we get y=8/5;
sub y in equ 3 we get z=16;

so the number of days=16

here how 150/9 becomes? why multiply (50/3)*(3/3)

7*10+3*10*y=z...-->2
x+y=1,
x=9/23,
y=14/23,
z=960/23.

solving eq 1 and 2 we gwt
f= 0.5333
we need 10f= ? ------------ eq 3
substitute f in eq 3
we get 5.3 days
answer : 5.3 days
