1600 divisible by 4 century year so odd days=0
300 century year contains 1 odd day, 49/4=12 leap years, odd days= 2*12=24, and
37 normal years 1*37 odd days, hence
1+24+37=> 6 odd days, 26 days of jan 26/7=>5 odd days so total odd days are 6+5=11/7=>4 odd days

odd days in 1600=0,300=1odd day,49 contain 12 leap year(12*2=24) and 37 normal year(37*1=37 odd days)
0+1+24+37+26=88.88/7 than remainder is 4. 4 represents Thursday.

1600 years has 0 odd days,300 years has 1 odd day,49 years has 12 leap years and 37 ordinary years and it has 5 odd days and jan 26 has 5 odd days when 26 is divisible by 7,it gives the remainder 5. so totally 1+5+5=11 odd days, when this is divisible by 7,remainder 4. The 4th day is thursday.

thursday is right ans
explanation- 1900+49 we know that the odd days in multiple of 400 is 0 ex- 400=0 800=0 1200=0 1600=0 and 1900=1 odd day and for 49/4= 12 lip years and 37 ordinary years
therfore lip year has 2 odd days and ordinary year have 1 odd day
so 37+24=61 and 61/7=5 odd days
this 5 and remaining 1 for 1900 means total 6 odd days for year
now for 26 january so 26/7=5odd days
so the toatal is 5+6=11 and 11/7=4 odd day
we know that at 4 thursday
