stoppage time per hr=(change in speed)/(faster speed) hr
=20/80=1/4 hr=15min

the ans is 15 mins

let us assume the distance is x km.
if the train travels 80km/h without stopages then it takes (x/80) hour to rech.
and with stopage it takes (x/60) hour.
let the train stops t min per hour.
then according to the question
(x/80)=(x/60)+(t/60)*(x/60)
then t=15 min.

Here, distance to be covered is constant
Hence, using the formula
Stoppage time/hour = Change is speed/ Faster Speed
=(80-60)/80 hr
=1/4 hr
==>15 minutes

80*60=60*(60+x)
where x is the stoppage time,
4800=3600+60x
x=20min.

or 80 km-60mint

=80-60/80=1/4

Due to stoppages, it covers 20 km less.

Time taken to cover 20 km =(20/80) * 60
=15 minutes
