the answer is 50 because 2=2*1
8=4*2
18=6*3
32=8*4
therefore 10*5=50

difference between first two number is 6,then the difference is increased by 4 respectively.so the answer is 50

there is gap of 4 between each number for eg : 2+4=6 now add this 6 to the first number 2 to get the next number in the sequence tht is 8 . similarly for next number 18 we need to add 4 to the previous difference which ws 6 that is 6+4= 10 which means the next number in the sequence tht is 18 is reached by adding 10 to previous number 8 to get 18. now short cut:
prev diff+4 = a now add this to prev number
2+4=6 now 6+2=8
6+4=10 now 10+8=18
10+4=14 now 18+14=32
14+4=18 now 32+18=50
answer is b

In this series, it's square of serial no.s with a multiplication of 2
Ex: ((1)^2 ) * 2= 2
((2)^2 ) *2= 8
((3)^2 ) *2=18
((4)^2 ) *2=32
((5)^2 ) *2=50
