Let d 5-digit no. be "abcde"

numeral at the beginning means ----> 1abcde
numeral at the end means ----> abcde1

given

3*(1abcde)=abcde1

[ abcde1 can be written as abcde*10+1... for example 11 can be written as 1*10+1 ]

[similarly 1abcde can be written as 100000+abcde... for example 1234 can be written as 1000+234]

3*(100000+abcde)=abcde*10+1
300000+3abcde=10abcde+1
7abcde=299999
abcde=299999/7

abcde= 42857

Ans : 42857
