150=5*5*3*2
and
151-76=75
75=5*5*3
here between these two results we take the common digits and we get
5*5*3=75
so the greatest possible no is 75

Greatest possible no will be obtained by taking maximum multiple of LCM of 76, 151,226 and adding 75 to it.

75 is the largest possible remainder and not the largest number.

Pls check and correct me if I am wrong.

Required No.=HCF of (151-76),(226-151),(226-76)
Hence HCF of 75,75 &150 =75.The main point one has to understand about this problem is as under:
If two numbers have the same
remainder on division by the same divisor, then the difference
between the numbers must be a multiple of that divisor. For example,

36 / 5 = 7, remainder 1
51 / 5 = 10, remainder 1
51 - 36 = 15, a multiple of 5

r+ a multiple of 76=n
r+ a multiple of 151=n
r+ a multiple of 226=n
ie;the LCM of 76,151,226=n-r
so n is the LCM+r
pls check it.
