take the LCM of denominator and then multiply the numerator by the number by which we get the LCM values by multiplying by the denominator.
and then arrange it according to the value of numerator.
LCM of 4,7,11,13 is 4004
so we have given fraction as
11/13, 9/11, 5/4, 5/7
=>11*308/13*308, 9*364/11*364, 5*1001/4*1001, 5*572/7*572
=>3388/4004, 3276/4004, 5005/4004, 2860/4004
=>so 5005 is the largest and 2860 is the smallest number
=>therefore 5/4 is the largest and 5/7 is the smallest fraction.

5/7.The more the difference between numerator and denominator, the least will be frction. If the numbers itself are are small the fraction will be small.

because more the difference between numerator and denominator lesser is the value.
but if diff is same then we check for smallest num/denom in the options and that is 5/7

5/4 should not be the ans as it is more than 1.
among 11/13, 9/11, 5/7 the smallest will be the one which has the smallest no in num and in den the no will be same for all,
11/13=(11*11*7)/(13*11*7)=847/(11*91)
9/11=(9*13*7)/(13*11*7)=819/(11*91)
5/7=(5*11*13)/(13*11*7)=705/(11*91)
so 5/7 is the smallest

As we can see, 5/4 is greater than 1 and all other are smaller than 1 so we have to take L.C.M. of 7,11 and 13 only. Then multiplying the numerator by suitable nos. as you aal know.
