let total amount of money be x
cost of 1 orange=x/50
cost of 1 mango=x/40
now spend amount=x/10+20*x/40=6x/10=3x/5
amount left=x-3x/5=2x/5
number of oranges=2x/5*50/x=20

For example let us take that person had 100 rupees .
For 100 rs he can buy =50 oranges (or) 40 mangos
40 mangos cost = 100 rs
1 mango cost is = 100/40 = 2.5 rupees each mango.
1 orange cost is = 100/50 = 2 rs each.
He given in ques he buy 20 mangos so =20*2.5= 50 rs
He kept 10 % of 100 for taxi fare = 10 rs
So left amount is 40 rs . So for 40 rs he buy 20 oranges... That solve....
