let the total no. of employees=1000x
hence, no. of skilled employees=75*1000x/100=750x
and no. of unskilled employees=1000x-750x=250x
hence, no. of temporary employees=20% of 750x + 80% of 250x=150x+200x=350x
since, 126 employees were temporary
hence, 350x=126
or, x=126/350=9/25
hence, total no. of employees=1000x=1000*9/25=360.

Total 480 employees.
Explanation:Let there be x number of employees
Skilled employees=3/4*x
Unskilled employees=1/4*x
Total temporary employees=1/5(3/4x)+4/5(1/4x)=126
Solving we get x=480

75% skilled and 25% unskilled and (80/100)*75 + (120/100)*25 = 65 are permanent
since 126 are temporary and 65 are permanent totally there are 126+65=191 employees.
