Speed of sumit=800/120 =20/3 m/sec
amit covers 600m and he started 20min aftr sumit,
Time taken by Amit to travel 600 m= 2 min – 20 sec = 100 sec
Speed of Amit=600/100=6 m/s
Now, Amit is given a head start of 200 metres.
Time taken by Amit to finish 800m= 800/6 sec
Distance travelled by sumit during the same period=20/3 * 800/6= 889 m
Amit wins the race by 1000 – 889 = 111 meters
