let the income of paulson be rs 100
if he spends 75% of his income means 75 rs
savings will be 25 rs
now income is increased by 20%
new income is 120 rs
expenditure is increased by 10%
so 10% of 75 (before expenditure) =7.5
now the expenditure is 75+7.5=82.5
savings now =120-82.5=37.5
increase in savings = 37.5-25/25*100=50%

If Income = 100

100 - 75 = 25
120 - 85 = 35
Increase in Savings = 35-25 = 10
Percentage = 10/100 = 10%
