% increase in vol = 100*[(1.5)^3 -1] = (3.375-1)*100 = 237.5%

let original radius=100
original surface area lets say it x =4 * (22/7) * 100 *100
new radius=100 + 50% of 100=150
new surface area lets say it y = 4 * (22/7)* 150* 150
increase in surface area=((y-x)/x) * 100
i.e.
((4*(22/7)*150*150 - 4*(22/7)*100 *100) / (4*(22/7)*100*100))*100
=125
so the answer is 125%.

radius increase = x+x/2=3x/2
volume of sphere= 4/3pie r^3
increse volume = new volume - old volume = 4/3 pie [(3/2x)^3 - (x^3)] =19x cu /3

337.5 this is the correct answer when we take volume of sphere that is (4/3 pir r^2)
