4-9 = -5
-5+16= 11
11-25= -14

next number will be
22-49 = -27

the given series is 4,-5,11,-14,22
take alter native series
4,11,22
here the difference between the nums 7,11(i.e,increasing 4)
-5,-14
here the difference is 9,then the next number will be -(9+4)=-13
so add -13 to -14 then -(13+14)=27
