5/12 of x=10km(Remaining)
x=10*12/5=24

let x be the total distance.. after performing 2/15 of distance, the remaining distance will be 13x/15.. and after performing 9/20.. the remaining distance will be 715x/1500 and putting it equal to 10km.. solving it for x.. its 21

ANSWER :

Let the total distance = x km

Distances travelling by
Rail tonga and by toot =2/15x+9/20x+10



(2/15x+9/20x)+10=x
[(2×20)+(9×15)/15×20]x+10=x

175/15×20 x +10=x

7/12 x +10= x
X-7/12 X =10


12X-7X/12=10



5X/12=10

X=10×12/5




ANSWER :

X=24
