nona age bcomes 1/3(x)
1/3(x)-5=1/5(x)
by solving we get,
x=37.5
and nona is 12.5

n = 1%2F3m
multiply both sides by 3
3n = m
:
Five years ago, she was only one-fifth of the age of her mother.
n - 5 = 1%2F5(m-5)
multiply both sides by 5
5(n-5) = m - 5
5n - 25 = m - 5
5n = m - 5 + 25

5n = m + 20
replace m with 3n
5n = 3n + 20
5n - 3n = 20
2n = 20
n = 20%2F2
n = 10 yrs old is Nona's age
