Length of Bridge=Speed*Time
Speed=5km/hr
Time=15 Minutes
[length of bridge in meters]
So
speed==>5*(5/18) [5/18 for convert km/hr into m/hr]
==>[5*(5/18)*15]/60 [60 for convert 15 minutes into seconds]
==>1250

The distance is asked (in metres) so first convert the quantities in appropriate measurements

time = 15 min = 15 * 60 = 900 seconds
speed = 5 km/hr = 5 * (5/18) = 25/18 m/sec

The distance formula is:

Speed = Distance / Time
=> Distance = Speed * Time
=> Distance = 25/ 18 * 900
=> Distance = 1250 metres

Hence, the correct option is .....D.....
