1 man's one day work = 1/(16*15)

ratio between the capacity of a man and a woman = 1/(16*20) : 1/(16*15)

1 women's 1 day work= 1/(16*20)
1 man's 1 day work = 1/(16*15)
ratio of efficiency of a man and a woman = 1/(16*15)/1/(16*20)
= 4/3

Simple formula M1*D1*W1=M2*D2*W2
20*16*W1=16*15*W2
W1/W2=3/4

Easy Method:

20W*16D=16M*15D
(ie)
20*16=16*15
Cut it, we get 4:3. This is for Women:Men.
They ask Men:Women. so 3:4.

if 'n' man can do a work in 'm' days then one man can do it in =m*n days

{example:
5 man can do a work in 10 days then one man can do it in(5*10) 50days}
where a number of man decreases then number of days take to do a work will be increased.

coming to this problem :

20 women can do a work in 16 days
so one women can do it in =20*16 = 320days
1 women = 320 days

16 man can do a work in 15 days
so one man can do it in =16*15= 240days

1 man =240days

ratio between men and women
240 :320
simplify it we get

3:4
this is the answer

16 * 15 man-day = 20 * 16 women-day
1 man-day = 320/240 women-day
man-day = 4/3 women-day
so... 4:3 is the ans.
