The basic logic behind solving this type of Q's are
1. Add all distances which are in same direction, then
2. Subtract it with the opposite one.
----- Answer ----
Total distance towards S-E = 7km
Total distance towards N-W (Opposite to S-E)= 7km
So, subtract S-E dist. with N-W dist.(d1)= 0km

Now Total distance towards W = 14km
Total distance towards E = 4km
So, subtract W to E (d2)= 10km

At last add up all the dist. (i.e d1 and d2) = 10+0 km = 10km (C).
