10 ltr of water is to be added.
At present there is 72 ltr milk and 8 ltr water.
ow 72 ltr milk should be 80% of mixture in new case. Then
total mixture = 72/0.8= 90 ltr

so 10 ltr water is to be added.

8 lit of milk is present mixture.
let x lit of water is added. so new mixture has 80+x lit and water content is 8+x lit. given water content is 20% of new mixture i.e 80+x lit.
so (80+x)*20/100=8+x =>80+x=40+5x =>x=10 lit.
so 10 lit of water has to added.

mixture of water and milk= 80L
% of water = 10%
therefore amount of water= 80*10/100 = 8L
water should be added to make it 20% water,
Let amount of water added be 'x'
Now, total mixture of water and milk= 80+x
amount of water added= 8+x
% of water in mixture=20%
therefore,
((8+x)/(80+x))*100=20
40+5x=80+x
4x=40
x=10 liters

it is so easy question,
80 liter mixer in which 72 liter is milk and 8 liter is water .

now , water is add for example" x "liter add so that it is 8+x

new mixture content 20% of the water so it is about 20 liter water and 80 liter milk right



so take ratio 72/(8+x) =80/20


so x=10 liter

In 8ol mixture,
Water= 10% = 8l
Milk= 90% = 72l
As water is only added, the quantity of milk remains constant.
Let quantity of new mixture be "x"
In new mixture, water=20% of x
therefore milk=80% of x = 72l
therefore, x=(100/80)72l
x=90l
Quantity of water in new solution = 20% of 90l
= 18l
Therefore, quantity of water to be added in the solution = (18-10)
= 8l
a= 8l

milk=80-8=72ltrs

=>x=10

in 80 lts 90% of milk ie 72 lts....so 8 lts of water
to make 20% of water...add 6.4 lts of water...
cos 72 lts remain same nd contribute 80% of total so 14.4 lts of water makes 20%....so 14.4-8=6.4...

In 80 liters of mixture milk and water are in the ratio of 90:10, means 72lts of milk and 8lts of water if we want to increase water to 20% then 80/20=72/x
then x=72*20/80=18 lts so need to add another 10 lts of water so the water % will be 20% in the new mixture

Given :
mixture of 80 liters
contains 10% water means (10% of 80)=8 liters
80-8=72 liters of milk
water quantity to be increased = 20%
so milk has to be of 80% then in mixture

both % ratio=4 : 1
let water to be added x
(72/8+x)=4/1
x=10 liters
