Nine o'clock. Since there are 12 hours between
the 2 times and  half of that time is six, then the
halfway mark would have to be 7 o'clock.

If it were 7 o'clock, two hours ago, the time would now  be
nine o'clock.

9:00 P.M..
12 hours between 1:00 pm and 1:00 am.
Half of 12 hours would be 6hours.
So, 1.00p.m + 6 hours = 7:00p.m.
Two hours later it would be 9:00p.m.(Before 1'o clock morning)

Ans 9:00 A.M.

The time is morning time as puzzle says " it was as long after one o'clock in the afternoon as it was before one o'clock in the morning.

There are 12 hours between one o'clock in the morning and one o'clock in the afternoon.

So the mid time between one o'clock in the morning and one o'clock in the afternoon is 7:00 A.M.

So now the time would be 9:00 A.M.
