Arun purchased 30 kg of wheat at the rate of Rs. 11.50 per kg ( for RS. 345) and 20 kg of wheat at the rate of Rs. 14.25 per kg ( for Rs. 285).

Total CP = Rs 620 for 50 kg wheat
SP for 50 kg wheat = 630*1.3= Rs 819
SP for 1 kg = 819/50 = approx Rs. 16.40

Ans. Option (b) Rs. 16.40

CP of 30 kg of wheat at the rate of Rs. 11.50 per kg = 11.50 * 30 = Rs. 345
CP of 20 kg of wheat at the rate of Rs. 14.25 per kg = 14.25 * 20 = Rs. 285
CP of 50 kg. of Mixture of wheat = Rs.345 + Rs.285 = Rs. 630
Profit = 30%
So SP for 50 kg. of Mixture of wheat = 630*130/100= Rs. 819
SP for 1 kg. of Mixture = 819/50 = approx Rs. 16.40
Hence Option (b) is answer.
