Seems to be question is wrong. Total days are coming in fractions

A's one day work would be 1/12
B's one day work would be 1/24
C's one day work would be 1/6

A, B and C's one day work would be 1/12 + 1/24 + 1/6 = 7/24.
A, B and C's together finish their work in 24/7 Days

C's one day work = 1/6

A, B and C's one day work = 1/12 + 1/24 + 1/6 = 7/24.
Time taken by A, B and C's together to finish their work = 24/7 Days

LCM(12,24,6)=24(articles)
A alone can do work in 12 days & he can do 2 articles per day
B alone can do it in 24 days& 1 article per day
c alone can do it in 6 days & 4 articles per day
all together complete 7 articles per day..
to complete 24 articles=24/7=3.4days

3(3/7)days they take to finish the job together.

In 1 day, A work = 1/12
In 1 day, B work = 1/24
In 1 day, A work = 1/6

In 1 day, A,B& C work = 1/12 + 1/24 + 1/6 = 7/24.
Time taken by A,B,C to finish work = 24/7 ==> 3*(3/7) days

A's 1 day work = 1/12
B's 1 day work = 1/24
C's 1 day work = 1/6
(A+B+C)'s 1 day work=1/12+1/24+1/6=2+1+4/24=7/24
since time and work is inversely proportional the whole work is done in 24/7 days i.e.approximately 3.4 days

A+B+C = 1/12 + 1/24 + 1/6 = 7/24

24/7 ≈ 3.5 days required
if x is the total amount of work to be done
the A will do x/12, B will do x/24, C will do x/6 in a day
so if the work together x/12 + x/24 + x/6 = x*7/24 will do in a day
