Price of 1kg fresh cashew = Rs.100
Therefore, price of 10kg = Rs.100 * 10 = Rs.1000

10% of 10kg which eaten by rodents = 10*10/100 = 1kg.

So, End of Year he had 10kg - 1kg = 9kg

So, he sells that 9kg with Rs.20 per kg profit = 9 * 120 = 1080.

He buy 10kg wooden box with cashew for 1000Rs and sell that for 1080Rs.

So, profit = 1080 - 1000 = 80Rs more money he get.

Answer is C 80 More

If he sells without waiting, total income would be 1000

upon waiting, cost will become 9*120 = 1080 (Becuiase 20 rupees per kg is going to be increase per year and 10% of the cashews are eaten by rodents every year )

So Profit is 80 rupees

the answer will be C (80 More)
the cost of fresh cashews = 10*100=>1000 rs.
and after 1 year the 10% cashews will be eaten so remaines are 10% of 10kg=> 9kg cashews.
the price of 1 kg cashews will get increase by 20rs/kg i.e. it becomes 120 rs/kg
so total selling price of 9kg cashews become =120*9=>1080rs.
so total profit=1080-1000=80 rs. Answer. dats it.

Explanation : S.P of one box today = 10*100 =1000 Rs
Quantity remaining after an year = 10 - (.1*10) = 9kg
S.P after an year = 9*120 = 1080
Extra Profit = 1080-1000= Rs 80

after one year 10kg=1200(20rs increase in per kg)
10% of cashew are eaten ,so 1 kg will be lost after one year.
9% of cashew =1080rs(after one year).
