3 digit no(EAT)+4digit no(THAT)=5 digit no()APPLE)
If so, then A most be 1 and p most be 0.Again here T is yielding a two digit no(10).So there most be
a carry 1 and T value=9.Now the expression becomes
E 1 9
9 H 1 9

1 0 0 L E
Now it is clear that E=8 and L=3

So,A+T+L = 1+9+3=13

step 2:after adding known values that is adding 9+9 gives 18 that is e=8 and 1 as carry
now 1 carry+1+1=3 which is the value of L

L=3

THEREFORE A+T+L=1+9+3=13

a 3-digit + a 4-digit yields a 5-digit, A can only be 1
AT must be 19, and LE = 38
EAT = 819
APPLE = 10038
10038-819 = 9219
so TH = 92

EAT + THAT = APPLE from this T=9, A= 1, P= 0 re fixed.. now 9 + 9 = 18 so E = 8, then L =3 and H = 2 so it gives finally 1 + 9 + 3 = 13

At most value of A will be 1, minimum value of T will be 9 (to yield 5 digit).
