Let the average of 18 innings is x
then, the total score is 18x
Now, he scored 98 in the 19th innings
thus, total score he score is 18x+98
as per the condition,
19(x+4)=18x+98
19x+76 = 18x+98
x=22

Average after 19th inning = 22+4=26

then, the total score is 18x
Now, he scored 98 in the 19th innings
thus, total score he score is 18x+98
as per the condition,
19(x+4)=18x+98
solving, we get x=22/19
Now, he has increased his average by 4
thus, the average score after 19th innings =(22/19)+4=5.16

then x+98/19=x+4
then x=1.2
and after 19th inning average would be x+4=1.2+4=4.2

19(x+4)=18x+98
19x+76 = 18x+98
