we know that a no is divisible by 9 if sum of its digits divisible by 9.
and no is divisible by 8 if last three digit is divisible by 8.
so we have sum of digit=55+A+B;and 96B
now checking from options A=8,B=0;
hence b is the ans.

for divisible by 8
last 3 digits should be divisible by 8
i.e. 9 6 B
so B= 0 or 8
NOW
for divisible by 9,sum of digits in number shud b divisible by 9
so,
7+7+4+9+5+8+A+9+6+B=55+A+B

IF B=0,A=8, WHICH GIVES SUM =63 WHICH IS DIVISIBLE BY 9

if the last 3 digits of the number are divisible by 8, so is the entire number.
i.e B must be 8 or o.
also, If the sum of digits is divisible by 9, so is the number.
thus 55 + A + B must be divisible by 9.
if B is 8 then A is 0 or if B is 0 then A is 8.
thus answer is (8,0).

if sum of the digits of the number is divisible by 9, then that number is divisible by 9.
so, 7+7+4+9+5+8+A+9+6+B=55+A+B is divisible by 9------>(1),


if the number formed by the last three digits of the number is divisible by 8, then that number is divisible by 8.
so, 96B is divisible by 9---->(2),
by using options which is satisfying the equations (1) & (2), we can get the A and B values.
Therefore, option (b) is satisfying the equations (1) & (2).

rule of divisibility of 9 says that all the sum of digits must be divisible by 9.
7+7+4+9+5+8+A+9+6+B==55+A+B=1+A+B(AS 54 IS DIVISIBLE BY 9)
ALSO the divisibility rule of 8 says that the last three digits must be divisible by 8.
so if B=0 then it is divisible by 8.
so 1+A+B should be divisible by 9..
if B=0 then A=8. SO 1+A+B=1+8+0=9 (DIVISIBLE BY9)
SO OPTION NO.(B)8,0
