• Here,4 and (-5)difference is -1...eq(i);(-5)and 11 diff is 6...(ii);11 nd (-14) diff is -3...(iii);(-14) nd 22 diff is 8...(iv).Then,(-1-2=-3)(where -1 from eq(i)-2).then,(6+2=8)then,(-3-2=-5).so between 22 nd (-27) diff are -5.that's why ans is -27.

  11-4=7
  -14--5=-9
  22-11=11
  x-(-14)=-13
  =>x=-27
  the signs also change alternately
