Q. Circumference of a circular ground is metres. A strip of land, 3 metres wide, inside and along circumference of the ground to be leveled. What is the budgeted expenditure if the leveling costs Rs. 7 per square metre?

• Ok so if the circumference is 88m. Then 2*pi*r = 88 => r = 14m.
  
  Area to be leveled = pi*(r1^2 - r2^2), where r1 = 14 and r2 = 14-3m = 11m
  
  Cost = Area * Rs 7 per m^2 = Rs 75 * 22 = Rs 1650
